Orange - the new neutral!
Orange - the new neutral! More Halloween quilt! My friend Donna on the left - wanted a Halloween Table topper. Hmmmm..... I made a bed size quilt and still had blocks left over.
I love Halloween and Lone Star quilts. We displayed our other Halloween Lone Star quilt at a couple of Quilt Show and had a few people who wanted to buy it. I had a hard time parting with it. So, I made a new one! Also, made kits of this one for sell at the shows. Tomorrow, August 1, 2013 at a Shop Hop Comes to Us, quilt show in Denton, Maryland. I hope to sell a couple of kit.
Once all the kits are sold, I wonder if I can part with this quilt?

Lone Star Quilt
Lone Star Holloween Quilt. I was inspired by the traditional Lone Star quilt to finish my UFO. I had quilted in the ditch on the star and was stopped there with no idea on how to quilt the cornor and borders on the quilt. I used school bus yellow thread. I cannot wait to display this quilt on Holloween!

Lone Star Quilt
This was one fun quilt to quilt! We have a feather set just designed for Lone Star Quilts, with a feather for the big corner squares, set in triangle and the lone star points! The borders have their own feathers! This is the quilt owner checking out her quilt! The Lone Star was hand pieced and had been a UFO for a long time. Claire says she's going to go home and finish a Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt. Cannot wait to see it.
I have a Halloween Lone Star quilt that is one of my UFO's. I'm inspired to rip out the stitch in the ditch I did on my home sewing machine and to quilt glow in the dark feather on it!
