Serve Your Country: Make a Quilt

 Under Our Wings (UOW) is a program that allows anyone to participate in national service by making a comforting Quilt of Valor (QOV) for an American armed services member touched by war.

We will be scheduling UOW workshops utilizing Moda's Quilts of Valor fabric starting in April.

Urban Shades Sample

The Urban Shades fabric designed by Lonni Rossi has arrived on Susan's doorstep and are thawing out as you read this blog. Susan is going to make the shop sample and will be the proud owner of the quilt when class is out. Maybe, by the time she comes back to us from Lithuania in 2012, I will give it back to her.

Annaul Quilt Show - Cabin Branch and Stone House Quilters

We will be a vendor at the Cabin Branch Quilters and Stone House Quilters' Guild Annual Quilt Show On March 12th - 13th, 2011 at the Prince William Fairgrounds, located at 10624 Dumfries Road, Manassas, Virginia. We are truely, a family owned and run bussiness - during the Quilt Show, my husband and handyman will be working in the shop. Please, stop by and visit with us during the quilt show.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Join us at 9:30 AM on March 16, 2011, for a ribbon cutting ceremony for Aurora Quilts. The event is sponsored by Historic Manassas, Inc. The Honorable Harry J. (Hal) Parrish II, Mayor of the City of Manassas, as well as City Council members, other Old Town merchants, and members of the press will be in attendance to wish us well.
